From CSI to UI: VandaLink Simplifies Transfer Process_University of Idaho[아이다호대학교]

The University of Idaho and College of Southern Idaho will launch a new joint transfer program on Wednesday, Oct. 28. VandaLink simplifies the process of transferring an associate’s degree from CSI to continue toward a bachelor’s degree at UI.

Part of a larger, statewide program that offers a seamless transfer experience between local community colleges and the UI, VandaLink provides admission to UI without application fees upon completion of an associate’s degree from participating schools.

Interested students, faculty and staff can learn about the program and enjoy Krispy Kreme doughnuts from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Taylor Building Eagle’s Nest, at the CSI campus.

UI and CSI administrators will be available to talk to media representatives 9 a.m. to noon.

College students are encouraged to sign up for VandaLink soon after enrolling at CSI in order to take advantage of the program’s coordinated academic advising, which includes a full-time UI admissions counselor at CSI’s Higher Education Center. Participation in VandaLink helps to ensure all credits transfer to UI.

VandaLink also features new student orientation sessions for students in the program, along with priority registration and potential scholarships.

“This joint transfer program with CSI makes obtaining at UI bachelor’s degree easier than ever because VandaLink takes the hassle out of the transfer process,” said MiChele Stefanic, UI’s associate director of admissions.

VandaLink is offered at community colleges statewide. More participating colleges are expected to be added in the future.
