UI Offers New Doctorate Degree for Higher Education Professionals_University of Idaho[아이다호대학교,미국대학교입학]
Professionals working in higher education can maximize their potential to influence change and promote their institution through a new doctorate program offered by the University of Idaho.
The Leadership in Higher Education doctorate specialization through the College of Education is an advanced degree program meant for working professionals who want to further their leadership role.
“This is the program where participants create networks of colleagues whose passions intersect, one where they meet and interact with leaders in place and where they become colleagues fully informed on the trends, policies, law and possibilities of today’s campuses,” said Cori Mantle-Bromley, dean of the College of Education.
The four-year program will launch its inaugural cohort in summer 2016. Core topics in the curriculum include law and ethics, organizational development and change, finance and budgeting, social justice, contemporary issues, stewardship and governance and policy. Courses are primarily online with some in-person commitments required where students will interact with faculty members, peers and professionals in leadership positions.
“Higher education is an environment is which we see tremendous growth and opportunity,” Mantle-Bromley said.
