Kennesaw State University enrollment officials have announced that the university’s undergraduate application deadline for the Fall 2018 semester will be extended to April 1. The original deadline had been set for March 1.
The deadline is being changed, in part, because hundreds of ACT tests were misplaced by FedEx.
The extended deadline provides an opportunity for students enrolling for Fall 2018 to meet the application deadline. These students are the first cohort under the university’s new competitive admissions model, which is intended to continue to attract high-achieving students while enabling the university to manage enrollment growth and facilitate students’ timely degree progressions.
“Kennesaw State is a first choice for many area students, and we hope this small extension helps ease some of the anxiety that this situation has caused,” said Linda Noble, KSU’s interim provost and vice president for academic affairs. “In addition, this slight grace period will help students and parents transition to our new enrollment model.”
