Plymouth State University will Host Annual Environmental Fair Tuesday, April 25(플리머스주립대학교)Plymouth State University
The Plymouth State University (PSU) environmental and social justice student organization, Common Ground, will host its annual Environmental Fair on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. The group traditionally hosts an outdoor environmental-themed fair to celebrate Earth Day (April 22). The fair takes place 10 AM to 2 PM outside the Hartman Union Building on the PSU campus.
A number of environmental and related organizations are expected to be on-hand to share information, including Squam Lakes Natural Science Center; Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative; New Hampshire Electric Cooperative; Newfound Lake Region Association; Squam Lakes Association; Plymouth Conservation Commission; Quincy Bog Natural Area; NH League of Conservation Voters; KTM Auto (veggie-oil powered vehicles); The Charcola Group; PSU Center for the Environment; PSU Office of Environmental Sustainability; PSU Center for Business & Community Partnerships; PSU Physical Plant (energy conservation, recycling); Sodexo (PSU Dining Services); Take Back the Tap; and Common Ground.
This year’s event will also feature a display of vehicles powered by waste vegetable-oil.
Admission to the Environmental Fair is free, and the public is invited to attend. In the event of inclement weather, the fair will be held in the Fireplace Lounge inside the Hartman Union Building.
