The Troy men's tennis team will have back-to-back matches on Friday and Saturday in Florida in continuation of the dual match season.
On Friday at 2 p.m., Troy will take on Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton, Fla. That will be followed on Saturday with a match against Miami. The match against the Hurricanes will have a live video feed on ESPN3.com.
The Trojans started the season 2-1 but proceeded to drop two-straight matches to North Carolina State and UNCG to fall under .500.
Troy has had trouble staying in matches this season as outside of the two victories against South Alabama and Mercer, Troy has only notched a high of two points.
The Owls have gotten off to a 4-1 start in dual season while the Hurricanes have only had two matches and have split those 1-1.
NOTEWORTHY
• It's been a stellar freshman season for Amer Bedwan as he has the second-best record on the team at 12-5 with a 4-0 record in dual play.
• While Troy posted an 89-64 (.582) record in tournament play, the Trojans have only won 9-16 (.360) contests in dual match play.
• Doubles play as been a strength for Troy as the Trojans record is 40-22 on the season and 7-4 in dual play. Andy Lau and Pablo Moreno have gone 10-4 as a pairing.
